FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Quality You Deserve and Dependability You can Count on

  • What is Ready Mix?

Morandin Concrete ships what is known in the construction industry as Ready-Mixed Concrete. When you place an order for concrete we match your requirements with a specific mix design from our database. The mix constituents are sent to batch panels that load all the raw materials into a drum which mixes the concrete. By the time the truck arrives at your job the product is sufficiently mixed and ready to pour. Each load is custom made for your application according to a specific mix design only moments before the truck leaves for your home or job. The batching of the raw materials in their specific quantities is done by computer, guaranteeing accurate products and reproducible mixes.

  • Do you deliver outside of Cheyenne?

YES! Morandin Concrete serves not just Cheyenne but all of south east Wyoming.

  • What is "Slump"?

The concrete slump test measures the consistency of fresh concrete before it sets. It is performed to check the workability of freshly made concrete, and therefore the ease with which concrete flows. It can also be used as an indicator of an improperly mixed batch. A lower slump tends to be a “stiffer” concrete where a higher slump is considered to be “wet”.

  • How much concrete do I need?

Give us a call and we are happy to help you calculate your concrete needs. Or you can go to our concrete calculator link and plug in your numbers. >>>> Note* due to variances in grade and form structure it is strongly recommended that you order a bit more then what exact dimensions call for.

  • I don't have much to pour....can you still help?

Of course! At Morandin we are here to serve the entire community that includes a one yard job to a do it yourself home improvement project all the way up to hundreds of yards for large commercial jobs. Our minimum order is just One yard
